This is not a death mask, it is a life mask. Inspired from the African Chokwe spirit protector of power and wealth, this mask conjures the past and invites you to experience the story within. Listen, hear the drums. Walk among the smoke and smell sweet grasses on the fire. Let your heartbeat match the earth's response to bare feet dancing on it. Discover your story within. |

| The original design was painted in black and white on a canvas before being digitized for publication. The theme was "Bon Voyage" and Carnival Cruise Line was presenting at their luncheon. |
This design will be burnished onto the lid of a picnic basket for the OWC's annual Christmas fund raiser. An accompanying limited print will be offered as a companion piece. |
